Okay, so we already know that Pikmin has been near completion since 2015. In the past Paper Mario Color Splash was completed in March but didn't release until October. Breath of the Wild was delayed until the Switch came out... do you think Nintendo is just sitting on games to keep this release flow steady?

I think they might just dedicate a decent window to Quality Assurance. They're not known for releasing particularly buggy games and it does take a fair chunk of time to get modern games to that point.

Yeah...there's a chunk of time between "complete" and ready to distribute. It takes time even to just press the discs.

Yes. They said they pushed back the release of the Switch for more software. There's always more than what they're telling us. Look how everyone was blind-sided by not one, but two Metroid games! And one is basically finished! Yes.

They HAVE to let the games trickle out slowly, otherwise there will be a flood followed by a drought. Better to have a slow, steady stream.

There's absolutely games they're sitting on and waiting, Retro has been working on a game since Tropical Freeze wrapped. It has to be near completion by now, yet they've showed nothing for it

No I don't think that.

Yea, that has always been their strategy
