So my gaming PC was deliver yesterday

Downloaded D2 today... it doesn’t work... it’s lagging like mad

Any suggestions? I tried lowering my settings to medium, then even low and still didn’t work

I’m running a InteI Core I7, 8Gb RAM, GeForce GTX 1060 6Gb

You shouldn’t have any problems with the game even with just 8 gigs of ram. Maybe do a full system wipe.

Windows 10 correct? its most likely bogging your system down doing updates in the back ground

I have a 3770k and an ol 7970 and I get 60 frames on high. So something is definitely amiss. I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of it here.

Check hard drive usage.

Windows 10 updates in the background can eat up to 90% of hard drive workload. =lags

What kind of lag is it? Low framerates? Bad internet connection?

My pc starting dropping fps like crazy over the weekend, I had to roll back to the oct build of the nvidia driver and it is working fine now.

Is your monitor connected to the GPU or the motherboard?

No one needs more than 8 gigs of RAM. Whoever up there said that is dilusional.

To run D2 in high/ultra you need at least 16gb ram. Make sure you've got the monitor plugged into the output for the graphics card and not the motherboard (rookie error, but I've made that mistake before). Other than that, make sure that you've got the latest drivers installed for all of the relevant hardware,

What do you mean by lag? It normally refers to internet connectivity and shouldnt be a hardware issue. A stick of my RAM died a few weeks ago and I still play on ultra with 8gb so its not RAM.

Do you mean that it's choppy in the game play?
