Looking for some input everyone... debating between purchasing a 2K monitor, 4K monitor or just getting a 4K TV. Will be used for my gaming PC and the PS4 Pro.

I’m not too obsessed with FPS or response times, etc involved in PC gaming, just deciding what would be a better choice.

I’ve never used a TV as a monitor so not sure how it’ll perform with the size since it’ll most likely be around 32”.

Budget is around $250-300 so I’m looking at 27-29” monitors in 4K.

Any ideas? Is the TV option a bad idea for a PC?

Tv is a bad option, by the sounds of it you all ready made up your mind. i say 2k because theres a noticeable improvement with high refresh rate.

I've a 50" 4k TV it has low input lag 60hrtz refresh rate best buy I ever made well worth it.... The latest Samsung TVs seem to have a even lower input lag but still not as low as a monitor ....if you want a big display it's much cheaper to get a TV

And 95 percent of games are optimized for 60 fps so I don’t give a shit about 144 hz or gsync
