Do you play portable or on the tv? It's better to play on portable if you get the sickness.

Can you use the motion sickness bracelet? I believe that it applies pressure to the pressure points that help with the feelings of being sick.

I ended up getting vertigo between mario galaxy and Mario galaxy 2 and bought galaxy 2 and within mins got nauseated but just couldn't keep playing. Only got an hour of play time in it
