Try using a restore point like go back a day or so ? Or try taking the bios battery out for 1 min and then put it back in ?

There are usually hotkeys depending on the GPU/Driver to change res.

Or F8 before OS loads.

If Uefi bios, enter bios first then force Uefi boot to get safe mode for example.

Another option if it's DVI or newer is if you boot into the OS, disconnect the monitor, then reconnect. Sometimes it will keep settings, other times no, but it worked for me once or twice.
