Keep trying. You will die all the time to start. Eventually you want to never leave the base unless you have a tame with you. Something you know will not die even if it gets attacked by 30 fucking wild rex's

PvP this lines are as follows for me

Rule 1 build small
Rule 2 build hidden
Rule 3 don't talk in chat
Rule 4 make sure at night you shut down all light sources depending on how far you are along in the game
Lights camp fires torches ext.

If your built deep in the woods
Do not cut trees any were near your base unless you ha e regrow on hand.

Also hide dinos
Have them hidden some times in plane sight is the best way due to if they don't have a saddle on and are on roaming none will suspect they are a tamed dino usualy unless they come across it
Or just hide them some were


Rule 5 hidden boxes
Have boxes hidden usualy u put them in sence wooded areas next to big trees or under water behind rocks put a starter pack in them
Metal pickaxe metal hatchet crossbow some arrows and armor.


Rule 6 always have parachutes in you quick slot 5 min

Same for bolas bolas and parachutes will save your ass all the way to end game and further.
Rule 7 did I mention don't speak in chat. Or as little as possible.
It makes you a target if people know your there they will look for you
If you stay silent. More of a chance of not being noticed now if you start going on reckless raids leaving your calling card aka killing tames and or players well that's different. When you raid
Don't do stupid shit a raid should not be letting every one know who did it and pissing everyone off
Simply take down the door
Go inside take shit you want and need and can carry. And get out undetected if possible
