Can someone please tell me what the main things I need to consider are when looking for PC parts? I have always been a console gamer and i want a pc, but im afraid to make a $1,000 mistake somehow. I want to at most be able to run GTA V, PUBG, and maybe vr and be 4k capable.

I built my first PC a few months back with no idea at all. Just watch a few YouTube videos and you'll be fine.

I would say buy a prebuilt gaming pc. Unless you really want to build yourself. In that case spend the time and watch TONS of YouTube videos before you buy parts. Even mimic someone’s build the first time so you don’t mess up

With inflated prices, 4k 60fps still cost atleast $1500

Graphics card first, processor second, memory or ssd third. Spend your money in that order

Just PM me, I'll set you up a list of affordable stuff, just expect to spend more than $1000.
