Alright guys I'm updating my motherboard and cpu, what am I needing to do after the change? As in do I need to reinstall windows etc

if you upgrade to motherboards that only support ddr4 RAM, and you dont already have it. you need ddr4 ram. you also need to reactivate windows

When it comes to new CPU and MB I always do a fresh install of windows just so everything is nice and clean and fresh. You won't need to buy a new windows install, you should just need to reactivate it once it's all installed.
