What if we were wrong this whole time?!

What if Luigi acts like he's looking up to Mario to boost his self-esteem? What if Mario secretely is looking up to Luigi because it is Luigi who has a steady job as a plumber? That's why we don't see Luigi in all of Mario's adventures. Because Luigi goes to work. Luigi takes time off to go on outings with Mario every once in a while. Mario was a carpenter at first, then a plumber. Was probably hired by Luigi. Everytime Mario went missing, Luigi had to bail him out. Mario is no longer a plumber, because he's bad for the Mario Bros. business. Luigi had to fire him.

Because the L stands for winner.
