Does anyone have any experience with M.2 to USB 3.0 enclosures/adapters? I have an M.2 from a friend's laptop that was destroyed when it was dropped but the M.2 seems intact and there are TONS of family pictures and videos she needs off it ASAP. Just looking for an easy solution and do not want to remove either of my M.2's from my gaming rig since the non-OS one is on the back of my mobo.

Why don't you get an m.2 pcie card?

Because my gaming rig is mini-ITX and I don't have access to any other computers in the house. Also, most adapters I've found on Amazon or even at the local store at like $20.

Also, she told me I could keep the m.2 once I transfer all her stuff over, so I'll have an ultra-fast 256GB external drive.
