Fan the hammer never became a reflex thing for me-- I dont use it often, so I just go for the headshot

I still use FTH sometimes. But only on the squishiest little flanker. Most I go for a couple headshots. Maybe if they don't die I FTH, roll, and GTFO. Or die. Usually if they don't die, there's a good chance I will.

It's a little more complicated than that
My first Hero shooter was Paladins and there I used to main Androxus (before his rework) and his right click used to fire 3 pathetic shots and he didn't even had any crowd control so I never used the right click
When I came to Overwatch the habit stuck with me I have played McCree over 30 hours and have probably used FTH 20-30 times
