Some people swear by ultrawide.
But for normal screen ratio its 16:9

all about your GPU power.. ultrawide is good but its more stree for your gpu so you better have a gpu that can provide you with at least +40 fps or more on that resolution

I love the quality but I'll always miss ultra wide lol

tbh, it mostly depends on the game.
for stuff like CS:GO, Overwatch and LoL, 16:9 is better.
for games where immersion is important (like Skyrim) 21:9 is better

I would definitely consider an ultrawide once they are a bit more affordable with 144hz and gysnc.
