So I just paid for this. Crossing my fingers it works with my mobo. I read a data sheet on the internet but I'm still not gonna be 100% sure if it is or isn't compatible til I can shove it in there. If it works it'll be better than the i5 I would've ended up with. What would be a good GPU to throw at this? I was thinking 750 ti 4gb or RX 560 4g

I had this cpu with a 750ti and it worked like a dream. Even ran fallout 4 at ultra 60 fps. I was really happy with the performance i got out of it. Although this thing was a freaking heater. Great for in the winter I rarely had to turn on the heater but in the summers it was unbearable

Right there is CPU support list, and it’s on the support list. However it MAY need a BIOS update to support the newer 3rd gen architecture the Xeon uses.
