I've never played the bayonetta games and I see a lot of hype around it but is it worth it sitting here wondering if I should buy the first one or use my money on something else any opinions out there?

Bayonetta is awesome! Never played them before now and I wasn't expecting a bunch but it surprised me, the combat is super fun and challenging and the action is just fluid and fun to watch. Lots of cool weapons and abilities to unlock which keeps you invested. I love it, it definitely surpassed my expectations it's over the top and a total joy, can be frustrating in a good way though as well
