I usually put steam games onto SSD which I assume plays them faster. Is this true? I just downloaded a 50Gb game onto HDD though to save space on the SSD. will performance change that much because it’s on HDD and not SSD?

Unless you dont have enough spaces left on your ssd... You can put the games on it to increase performance. You sould keep 10-15% of ssd space free otherwise it will harm its longevity.

I really don't notice much of a difference between one being on SSD and one being on HDD. Maybe if you're taking into account something that ALREADY takes really long to load. But for the most part, I only have the ones I mainly play on SSD
