The only reason you want to focus hog in a 1v1 is to build some ultimate charge, BUT you will charge his or a supports ultimate to if you can't finish him. In higher SR this will be exploited. Overall he's a bad focus target as tracer and there are better targets 9/10 times.

Practise baiting the hook, I often use a blink to catch his eye and then act like i'm all out of blinks, look for the hook animation, blink towards him on a 45 degree angle (W+A or W+D), and from there.

You shouldnt be focusing roadhog, but if you do Just build up your ult and get out cus hes almost impossible to kill in a 1v1

You don't have to kill him. Drop a clip on him and then get out. Tracers job is more about being a pain in the ass and making the enemy team commit resources to you than it is getting kills (tho that is always a real possibility for her when poking and prodding enemies).
