Had a Ryzen 5 1600 planned but should i do Ryzen 3 1200?

(Board: Asus Prime B350 Plus
GPU: 1050 Ti)

if you have the money, just grab the 1600. you get better performance (6c 12t vs 4c 4t) and better stock cooler (wraith spire vs wraith stealth)

If you're trying to save money then the r3. Other than that get the r5

1600 or 1700 if you can afford it.

Only go for the 1700 if you're gonna be doing productivity tasks like video editing. Other than that, if it's just for gaming then a 1600 is perfect for that.

get an R3, and spend the money on getting a 1060/rx580 when gpu prices level out. trust

I would go R3 1200 and oc it to about 3.9 - 4.0 , It has had solid reviews. Put the extra £100 into a better GPU and see how the chip fairs. You'll be surprised his good it is the R5 1400 is phenomenal as well.
