Hopefully someone has something useful to offer here.
I just found one of my old games that I really liked-Evil Dead Regeneration.
I have all 4 discs. The game is 10 years old, maybe older. I loaded it on my win10 laptop, and it got all the way to the last disc before saying "you're outta luck, son."
My first thought is that the game is 32 bit and my laptop is 64bit. Is there a way around this, like a 32bit emulator or whatever it might be called-
Or do you think something more sinister is afoot?
How do I play my damn game without making a partition for xp?

It's hard when it comes to legacy games. I'd just make the partition. Or you could make a VM

Or you could just try running the install in compatibility mode for windows xp

Have you tried that before Scott?

Yeah fallout 3 wasn't compatible last year I ran it in compatibility mode without using steam and it worked

So in 10 there's an xp compatibility Mode? I'll have to check that out.

Yeah just make sure you run it as administrator as well and you should be fine
