Guys, I've bought a used Amd phenom ii x6 1055t with it's fan for 47$. I need it in my old rig because I'm forced to use it until i upgrade it after 5 years or something. It's a bargain or what?

its a older cpu, if you OC it to arround 4.2ghz it will be about as fast as a FX 8320 or so, i used to have the 1090t and cant tell the difference between it and my 8350, replace that stock cooler though

I used to have one of these. Was a brilliant chip! I got mine to 3.8ghz and was faster than my other fx8150. I did try overclock to 4.0 but it wouldn't stay stable

They'll hold you over till you can upgrade. I still have a 1075T sitting somewhere
