Who cares? Performance is the only thing that matters! Only datacenters give a rats ass about wattage used by CPUs and they sure as hell arent buying much less overclocking Intel I9 CPUs.
heh... AMD Fanboy's didn't care much about power consumption when their FX-8350 and 9590's were pulling over 350.. But, now they care about power consumption because it suits their cause..
I think power consumption is the last thing on my mind when it comes to buying a CPU. Really not worried about it, unless on a budget, and wanting to buy the lowest wattage I can get away with
