I'm a fan of 4k, but I don't really play any titles that rely on twitch reflexes and flick-shotting. If you're a competitive player of games, I'd opt for the higher refresh rate. If you play a lot of solo-play games, or multiplayer in a non-competitive manner, I'd opt for 1440p
If graphics really is everything, I'd go 4k. I did, and I'm happy with it

the 144hz feel so nice if you can reach that frame rate,can't give my opinion on 4k as i haven't seen it.I'd say go 1440p 144hz or wait for 4k 144hz if your hardware can handle that

I play Witcher 3 1440p on medium-high and it looks way better than 1080 ultra, also hitting around 60-80 fps with my rx480. The beauty with the 144Hz is that u notice every frame up to 144 and it moves buttery smooth. I would never go back to 60Hz or 1080p again!

Depends on what kind of games you play. If you play a lot of first person shooters then 144hz all the way but if you’re a big open world rpg kinda guy you don’t need all those frames
