From skylake to Kabylake no need for a new mother board. Z270 works with z170
From Kabylake to coffeelake new motherboard needed. New z370 line
From coffeelake to icelake? z470??

I take it it's just a wait and see scenario or does the 10nm process mean a new chipsize completely?
