Would you recommend installing a costum rom on your phone? I'm thinking about installing stock android on my Galaxy A5 2016 but worried the fingerprint scanner won't work after.

Kinda depends on why you're doing it. If it's just for fun, I wouldn't do it. Most ROMs are stable, some arent. I've flashed both my old phones and given them an extra couple months life tho.
