My 1700 gets 4.0
My friend had the same CPU but he could not hold psychologically and got the 1800x which overclocked worse

definitely worth the &10 premium for a lot better chance of better cpu. Maybe not 100% of the x-variants, but most of them got the x because it was a better cpu.
