Depending on your monitor/TV, refresh rate, and pixels per inch will determine that. A smaller screen doesn't have to fill with as much pixels allowing the peripheral to work less. But a bigger screen needs more pixels to provide an image. However, the aspect ratio and resolution to pixels will help determine the definition. Standard screen ratio is a 16:9. You take a 27" 16:9 HD TV and compare it to a 27" 16:9 UHD, you have more pixels at work for the UHD giving you that clean, crisp and clear image making the "graphics" look better.
