The Last time North America actually had a major Ys release on a Nintendo platform was in 1992. Ys IV and V were both released on Super Famicom in Japan but neither had a American release until 2013's remake of IV that has remained a PS Vita exclusive under the title Ys: Memories of Celceta. All the entries in this series have had remakes and re-released except V as it's now the oddball out as far as English releases.

I hope Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana does well enough on Switch to warrant the ports of the other games as well, this is one action RPG series that should not be missed out on.

I played Wanderes From YS 3 on Super NES and beat it. Also I think it was also featured in a players guide as well!
