They should be working on it for the switch, but how knows when it would come

I wouldn't be surprised if we got an announcement at E3 for a holiday release of Animal Crossing. If the current belief holds true, we may get Super Smash in September to coincide with the new online system rollout. If that does happen, it means there is still room for another first party Holiday release (unless Yoshi is intended for that position.)
