Try baking it in the oven take the heat sink off so it's a bare board and bake it in a fan assisted oven for 10min and it should fix it

The youtube reviews of the MSI 1080 armor were not good, so I'd expect their approach towards other models in the armor series would also not be that good. You can try Sapphire Nitro+ OC or XFX.
