Okay quick question, I had a MSI R9 390, I never ever had a single problem. Well I sold it on eBay, guy gets it and tries to tell me all it does is crash his computer and say reason being “ temps are to high with thermal issues”
But I have NEVER had a problem with it. Even tested it right before I sent it out. Also said that he’s tried 3 390s and had the same problem soooo I believe issue seems to be him rather than the card. Thoughts?

Good luck, with ebay money back guarantee he will win. Guy did that to me on a motherboard I sold. Best thing is to make him ship it back. I hope you have all the numbers to make sure it's your card

R9 390s run hot. I've hit 91C trying to run the Witcher 3. Had to work on a better fan configuration and had to make sure I had enough room around the PC.
After all the work it still tops out at 83C..
