Ok I’m curious about best couch multiplayer games. Does splatoon have split screen? One reason I got switch is Nintendo seems to still care about split screen and multiplayer that’s local and not online.

I'd say Rocket league and enter the gungeon if you have 2 real controllers (the controls are shit with 2 joycons)

Overcooked is immense. Lego City is amazing. Snipper Clips too.

Splatoon 2 isn't split screen. Good 2 player games are Mario Kart 8, Overcooked, Shovel Knight, Pokken Tournament, and Rocket League.

Splatoon is not a good single switch local multi player game.

Aside from what was suggested above. Arms and Mario + Rabids, Poyo Poyo Tetris.

I've heard lovers in a dangerous space time is great with 4 people.

Others are Sonic Mania, the binding of isaac, Minecraft (you need another 2 joycons/pro controller)

You can't play splatoon 2 with local multiplayer on 1 switch. Each player needs their own console

Yeah I think it's kinda sad splatoon doesn't have splitscreen (still an amazing game though). I usually go with Arms, Mario Kart, Snipperclips or Nine parchments for local multiplayer.

There's also street fighter, but I'd hold out for the version that has a bunch of the street fighter games comming later this year.

Maybe one of the many neo-geo fighters.

No joke, Snipperclips is a freaking blast. Rocket League and Puyo Puyo Tetris are great as well
