What ram do you have in your system? try getting the same module. If you dont find matching modules, the CAS latencies and frequencies will reduce to the speed of the slowest module in your system.

if ur gonna use low amounts of ram than i dont think you shoud worry too much about that as ur not gonna read and write big amounts also if ur gonna post be a little more spesific like what ddr and speeds ur motherboard supports cant just buy any type of fast ram becuse its not gonna work...... :/
