my specs:
GPU: 1050 ti 4 gb
CPU: i7 6700 3.4 gz
RAM: 8gb ddr4
my friends specs:
GPU: 680 2gb
CPU: i5 4960 3.5 gz
RAM: 16gb ddr3

Run games on the same settings and see who gets better fps. I would guess that you do.

Honestly I wouldn't say your PC obliterates his. It's better. But for gaming I don't think there would be much of a difference, since the 1050Ti is only around 10-15% faster on average compared the 680. Of course, in some newer games that lead will increase a bit in your favor, but on average I think that number is close. You have more VRAM, which is good. Your CPU is much better for overall tasks, but for gaming it might not be a HUGE difference. I think both of those CPU's are good enough for each GPU, meaning neither GPU will be bottlenecked.

Again, yours is the better PC, but it's not a landslide.

Check out this YouTube video that pits those GPU's against each other and it backs up what I'm saying. Throw it in his face too, just to prove your rig is better :D

Yours is better mainly because of the i7. Your GPUs perform nearly the same, but yours is more efficient.
