It has a durability of 800, though it says 90. You can buy it again in Target Town for $3,000.

It does break, but its gonna take a while! To get another one you need to complete the Tarry Town, and talk to a guy on top of one of the house's roofs. He will sell you a lot of stuff, including the sheild, but only if yours is broken
