Laptops aren't as solid and long-living as a PC. I'd not suggest gaming laptops, as my friends' wore off after one year, CPU died and GPU farted after a hardcore gaming, and mid-core gaming.
Up to you, if you have money and you don't mind spending it carelessly go with it.
however laptops are very saught after, get a good brand like razer ones, sell it after a year and get a new one this way you mostly pay about 200€ a year for a laptop
If you can get a good deal on it why not? Buying a laptop while waiting for GPU prices to drop isn't a bad idea especially cause the laptop can be a solid portable gaming machine for the next 2 years or so
