There used to be. I hate public maps. Nothing but lag and people putting up pillars every where.

Join a pve player Dedicated that is password protected. There are lots.

I'm on a PvP dedi that isn't populated. You could pve there for awhile. If someone messes with you I'll help out.

Then rent a PC hosted server or buy another console to host a player dedicated yourself. Only option to get rid of the tether.
