Is there an option to play Arms with the joy cons, without motion controls? I tried to play this with my kids. I had the joy cons in the grip and they would only work with motion controls. Now, if I use the split joy con option that works. I never looked in any options but, if there's no way to play with the grip, without motion controls, thats a big mistake. I have a Pro controller and thats nice.

It should work in the grip without the motion controls. I play like that all the time

Yes. I play with the button configuration. It uses the L stick to move, press L stick to guard, Y to dash, X to Jump, and B and A to punch with left and right arms

There must be in the controller options. I used the joy-con that way on the demo

You can play without the grip, but your joycon has to be level as if they were in the grip. The Switch knows if you play joycon with or without motion control on the fly.
