I say yes, they added badges and a few other things and the game feels more complete than a year ago. That said, try the test punch when it comes up.

Yes. It is really fun. Most of the people who dropped the game and complained about it either couldn't adapt, had a short attention span, or it just wasn't their cup of tea. The game is doing phenomenally well right now.
