It was a shitty change and yes it really helps curve having 20 brontos with platform saddles coming to wreck house all from a single tribe. It makes cross serving raiding more difficult as well. Because you limit the amount of players possible per bronto rider due to tame cap having to set up multiple tribes per raid. So it all makes sense but it's a HUGE pain in the arse for only having such a small tame cap on console.
