Android but ya and I turn the hotspot on, connect to it from my Xbox and join the server like normal

I use my iphone hotspot, on verizon with no issue. Activate the hotspot on your phone and connect to it on your xbox like any network...

Yeah, I use my AT&T hotspot. It depends on your service both with the signal of connection and your service plan. I have had great connection all day with my new S8.
