What are the temps and what CPU. I have concerns about i7700k at 80c while at load. Intel says nothing to worry about but I think its causing slow downs and frame skips. I need a better cooler which I will do soon.

I had the same problem, but it would freeze and make a loud buzzing noise and turn off, I just replaced my old thermal paste and it works perfectly now

I think ur thermal paste is dry. Try to replace a thermal paste to ur cpu
