no point in getting the X , get the non X and save the £££ , it will clock to the same speeds anyway!

Why so slow of ram? I'm building a ryzen myself and ryzen likes faster ram. Also opt for a smaller m2 ssd and go with a regular ssd for games and a mechanical for pics and other storage.

umfortunaly i already have the ram,psunand case from my previous build, but im stuck with an i3 6100 + gtx 970 and decided to fully upgrade to 1440p

Ok it will do to get ya started. The 960 evo is a bit cheaper then your m2 ssd .

I plan on a regular 500 gb ssd and kp the mechanical, I'm using m2 for operating system and 1 or 2 favorite games.

yh sorry, so after doing further research, i decided to get the r7 1700 with stock.cooler and gtx 1080 ti with 960 evo, i do have some extra hdds and ssds for extras

Corsair coolers work nice but nzxt coolers look better by far

I like the h440 case, I had to have it. I did like corsair tempered glass cases but the price was ouch
