Hey guys!
Any of you use the 8bitdo Nes30 pro controller?
Thinking in getting one for simple platformers
Are they good? Still working with they 5.0 update?

I wouldn't risk itbro, who knows if it no longer works with next update. Happened to me with the Wii U and 3rd Party controller.

They are popular. I don't think Nintendo would break compatibility. They are selling plenty of Pro Controllers.

But to more directly answer your question, no they weren't broken by 5.0.1, unless nobody had complained about it in the last week or so, which seems very unlikely.

I have one, its great. It sucks on certain games though, like rocket league.

I have one, it works great. They are constantly updating the software, so make sure to plug it into a PC every now and again to check for updates

Yes I have two, both working. I even have the earlier versions and all of them are still working. Plus I have two other third party controllers. All working. 5.0 onwards didn't stop controllers from working.

I have one and I love it. The quality is there. I thought Ilit wouldn't be uncomfortable where the joy sticks are located but I seriously have no complaints. Motion controller is great too. The only down side I can see is the vibration is a little loud if you are in a quiet room. But totally over all this controler is awesome. GET IT!

Works with splatoon 2, Botw, SMO and MK8 very well. Switch on 5.0.1.

Most people make the mistake of not updating the 8bitdo controllers. It's a must for these remotes.

* I also got warranty thru a vendor from Amazon to help save my ass incase the remotes break etc
