Hello everyone, I have a dell inspiron 3847 tower and I have a 600w evga power supply for it. The 24 pin motherboard connector is bad and it doesn't fit into the motherboard socket all the way and it comes loose often. When it comes loose it randomly just shuts off my pc and I'm getting really pissed at it rn. Do dell motherboards require a certain psu with some type of socket or is it just a bad unit? I also had to use my stock power cable since the one that came with the psu also was wiggly and didn't send power through all the time. Thanks for any help

Industry standard socket, either it's a bad socket or a bad plug
