Finally pulled the trigger and bought Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Special edition on Amazon for $54 new. Is the controller necessary or will the default switch ones work just as well?

Wtf? Amazon has special editions for LESS than the regular market price of the regular? What kind of witchcraft did you pull? I guess I just don’t care about disposable income since I was fine paying $100 on eBay for a new one.

There is literally no advantage whatsoever to a more traditional controller other than personal preference.
