Can someone give me some ideas on a good monitor for the pc/ps4 pro. I don't plan 4k or anything just someone with good colour and maybe hdr

your better off with a tv for hdr. it's rare and expensive in a monitor. I have an LG 4k that is just outright awesome looking. it's on sale alot around 400. that's what the pro ps4 should use. otherwise get a 1440p.

either way good color you need an ips. look at reviews alot of ips junk too. Samsung has $400 4k has horrible reviews for color picture quality.

Tv I have looks horrid against a monitor. White words etc look wrong

I don't have that kind of money sadly haha. Just a nice 27" with hd and good colour. Not do clued up with monitors as you can tell
