Can already tamed dinos become untame?

Say for instance I take a flyer and then log off go to sleep work the next day the flyer will then be untame on my return and assumingly respawn of fly off somewhere?

I ask because a buddy of mine says his flyers keep "disappearing" or "becoming untamed"

They fly away. The only way to untame them is to unclaim them

You can "unclaim" a tamed tame but you cannot un-tame it returning it back to a wild dino.

How do u prevent them from flying away? Cage em?

It could be on neutral or aggressive and being kited away

Build a barn and keep them on PASSIVE

If it's not on passive yes

People or Dino's and Agro the animal by an enemy hitting a structure or tame

If you are playing on a dedicated server it could be the server settings causing that.

Idk if they fixed it or not but i remember there use to be an issue with tames falling under the map.

The only thing similar I've experienced is flyers taking off but not untaming themselves. Only happens on my ragnorak map though.

We always set our taxes to passive, and "ignore group whistles", but there is a glitch on Ragnarok that resets them to attacking Target and makes them listen to group whistles. We have to reset most of them every day. Very annoying, we have lost flyers because of this
