Best way to tame a phoenix?
Tried it in the air, but no chance it needs to much time for that short heat wave.
And the ash is despawning when he disappears. So i cant build a trap around it...

In the air, but with many people and fire wyverns at the same time. Rather ask in chat for help than trying it on your own. :/

You can build a trap if you see where its ashes fall. At least 5 walls high

I saw the ash, but it despawned after few seconds

It will. You can still build a cage around the spot the ashes were at and when a heat wave comes again the Phoenix will spawn there

At least 5 high and door frames are the only thing it wont fit through.
