I'm kind of dumb when it comes to this, this server thing you rent configures to my PS4? Or do I have to purchase extra hardware, and I can play on the server right? Be nice I'm old and computer stupid

You can rent the server and on their website you can configure the settings and you are done, no need to buy hardware
