i like to stagger my sheilds between ally and me not shiled both at the same time so you can keep a more consistent charge, shield front line/other tanks first, healers as second option. anytime you hear an enemy ult shiled the first healer you can find

Activate your shield after taking damage, not in anticipation of damage. Sometimes it's a game of "does she have her shield up or not."

Stick with assaults ppl generally focus them so you can build shields pretty fst

Test to see the range of your grav. It sounds simple but if you know the max range of enemies being sucked in you would have a much better idea of where to put it.
