Advise needed prob been asked 1000 times but im very hung over.

So at present ive got 2 x 4gb vengance ram and want to go to 16gb whats the best option buying 2 x 8gb or adding 2 more 4gb. Or does it make no difference?

If you have 4 slots, then you can run 4x4, or you can just buy the 2 8gb dimms. As far as I'm aware, it's just more easy on the memory controller running 2, rather than 4.
